Happy Summer!

Dry summer days are here again in Oregon.  To celebrate summer, we've added two new flights to our menu in Portland.   We now have a Bubbly Flight, featuring three local Oregon sparkling wine makers, all of which are made by hand in the traditional methode champenoise.  

We have also added a premium Pinot Noir Flight, which showcases high-end Pinot noir from the Willamette Valley, at a bottle price range of $45 - $120.  This week the flight is composed of our own 2012 Pinot noir from Eola Amity Hills AVA, 2013 Ayres Pioneer Pinot noir and 2013 Cameron Winery Arley's Leap. 

  

Delay due to the City of Manzanita...

Folks, I know some of you will be as disappointed to hear this news as much as I was.

We received a 5 page report from the NEW building inspector detailing additional firewall requirements between the winery and apartment above, even though the design had been previously approved by the city in the design review last year and the prior building inspector.  

We are researching this issue and preparing our appeal to the State for these additional requirements, as they will be quite costly to implement after the fact.  If required, they should have been done before we put the roof on the building.

As you can see from the photos below, progress does continue on the siding, utilities, plumbing, driveway and sidewalks.  We can't put in the sheet rock and start the finish work until this is
sue is resolved.

Again, I thank you all for your support and I hope that we can still open this Fall.
